There are two ways to recover air filters in air purification projects. One is the "dry method" commonly used, which is cleaned by air vibration method. The other is not commonly used, called "wet"". As the name implies, the wet method uses water to force the trapped particles away from the filter. The filter after wet cleaning needs drying before reuse.
每種方法都有支持者。干法的支持者關(guān)注過濾效率。他們認(rèn)為,濾餅在過濾介質(zhì)上形成之后,空氣過濾器才可以達(dá)到它們的效率。干法不會(huì)去除所有的濾餅,因此回收的過濾器比新過濾器的初始效率高。過濾器上沉積的灰塵會(huì)填塞濾材上的大孔,使過濾效率變高。
Each method has its supporters. Proponents of dry methods focus on filtering efficiency. They believe that after the filter cake is formed on the filter medium, the air filter can reach their maximum efficiency. The dry process does not remove all the filter cakes, so the recovered filter has higher initial efficiency than the new filter. The dust deposited on the filter will filter the large holes in the filter and make the filtration efficiency higher.
濕法的擁護(hù)者重視的是容塵量和設(shè)計(jì)效率。大量的灰塵會(huì)在濕洗過程中去除?;覊m去除得越多,回收的過濾器捕集到的灰塵也就越多。由于濾材是沒有改變的,因此效率與出廠設(shè)置還是一樣的。去除的微粒越多,清洗后的過濾器捕集的灰塵也就越多,因此也就不需要經(jīng)常更換了。
The proponents of the wet process attach importance to the amount of dust and the efficiency of the design. A lot of dust will be removed during the wet washing process. The more dust is removed, the more dust will be captured by the recovered filter. Because the filter material has not changed, so the efficiency is the same as the factory setting. The more particles are removed, the more dust will be collected by the cleaning filter, so it will not need to be replaced frequently.
兩種觀點(diǎn)都有其優(yōu)點(diǎn)。使用后的空氣過濾器效率的確會(huì)變高。當(dāng)濾材捕集微粒時(shí),隨著較大的孔被部分填塞,更多更小的微粒會(huì)被截留。吹掃空氣過濾器不能完全去除填塞在濾材中的微粒,有些孔還是部分阻塞的。當(dāng)過濾器再次投入使用時(shí),這些部分填塞的孔隙將阻止某些較小的微粒通過。而另一方面,停留在濾材上的微粒是過濾器總?cè)輭m數(shù)量的一部分。采用濕法工藝則可以去除更多的灰塵,比干洗的過濾器會(huì)更輕,具有較快的空氣流速。
The two points of view have their merits. After using the air filter, the efficiency will be higher. When the filter particles capture particles, as more holes are partially packed, more smaller particles will be trapped. The purge air filter can not completely remove the particles packed in the filter, and some holes are partly blocked. When the filter is put into use again, the pores packed in these parts will prevent some smaller particles from passing through. On the other hand, the particles that stay on the filter are part of the total amount of dust. With the wet process, more dust can be removed, lighter than the dry cleaning filter, and has faster air flow.
